Dr. Nonhlanhla Langa – Specialist Paediatrician with a keen interest for child well-being

Dr Nonhlanhla Langa is a Specialist Paediatrician from Pietermaritzburg in the Kwazulu-Natal Province. She established her solo practice in October 2023. She has always wanted a cohort of patients with whom she could provide ongoing medical care and follow-up and build lifelong relationships.

Dr Langa is passionate about paediatrics and child health, providing quality care for children and facilitating them to reach their full potential.

The art of making a meaningful difference and healing not only the body but the mind also gives her great job satisfaction.

HISTORY OF MEDICINE

She spent four years as a paediatric medical officer between 2014 and 2017.

She has always had a passion for helping people. That, combined with having a family member who died from a preventable cause of death, made her want to step into medicine so she could do better and save lives.

PROFESSIONAL BACKGROUND

I qualified as a Specialist Paeditrician in 2021 through the CMSA. Obtained a Masters of medicine in Paediatrics and child health in 2022. Worked as a Specialist Paeditrician in PMB Metropolitan Complex from Oct 2022 to November 2023. Started in Private practice in December 2023.

Her practice is a place of comfort, care and compassion where every child and parent will find peace away from home. Dr Langa completed her two-year internship in the Pietermaritzburg Metropolitan Complex between 2011 and 2012 and her community service in paediatrics at the Northdale Hospital in 2013.
